We recently purchased an adoption certificate (and let me just say - what a WONDERFUL idea it was! I've never seen 2 happier or more surprised faces on Christmas morning)

Hi! I received my olive oil just in time for Easter. It is truly delicious and just how you described it. This was a great present from our children for my birthday in early February - I'd almost forgotten that it was coming and so it was a beautiful surprise. We are having such fun dipping bread into a bowl of oil. It feels like summer is really here. Thanks so much for all the care and attention to packing - nothing dented or spoiled the treat. I've adopted a tree for 3 years and have given trees as gifts. The oil is wonderful -- and the product selection improves every year. People are always impressed and amazed when I tell them that the oil they are trying comes from my very own tree.

A family-run cooperative in Marche, Italy, Nudo offers fresh same-day cold-pressed olive oil from mostly organic producers. You can buy their olive oil online, a great product with fun variations on it’s own - they’ve made olive oil with lemons, and chillies and mandarins and basil – or you can get picky and adopt your very own olive tree. The idea is that you adopt the tree of your liking on their website, where you can choose from a plethora of varietals and growers, and guarantee yourself the right olive oil for you, from hand-harvested Italian olives, helping to save a small artisanal farmer’s business.

I am the proud parent of an adopted olive tree, the oil it produces is incredibly delicious plus it's a great way to support small artisinal farming in Italy, something I take very seriously.

Imagine my delight when this beautiful adoption announcement came and told me I was the proud parent of an olive tree in Il professore grove. A fitting place for a retired teacher. I am anxiously awaiting my first shipment.

I've gifted this to my mom, grandmothers, and friends for a few years now and have always loved the products, stories, and message of Nudo. I love that you have your "own" tree that you are getting the product from. What a fantastic, sustainable concept!

I am a bit of a sap already, but when I opened my NUDO gift certificate last Christmas I could barely stop from bawling. I was SO happy. It was THE most thoughtful gift and So appreciated. I adopted a tree last year as a gift to my father for his birthday and Father's Day. He is one of the hardest people to buy for so I thought this would be the perfect gift! It was! He was touched and so excited to get his first shipment of olive oil! Once it came, it spoiled him for all other olive oil. I just received an email from him today asking that if he was really, really good again this year if he could have another tree! Of course he can! To adopt an olive tree is one of the most beautiful and responseble gifts you can give your kids, to make them aware off the way food is produced, and not only bought in the shop. A very good idea.

I was given a tin of Nudo oil as a "thank you", and am now giving an adoption Cert as a Christmas gift as it tastes great and is supporting the growers in Italy. Wish I could purchase it locally to reduce air miles/postage.
